Sharing Presidents had a Great Summer!
Summer’s almost over but for some Sharing Presidents who were treated to a “one in a million fellowship” by their classmate SP Pepito Bengzon of RC Makati, who brought them all the way to Pangasinan for an overnight stay April 26-April 27, the stories will not end that easily.
In his letter of thanks, SP Uly Sevilla of RC Makati Buendia, on behalf of his other classmates, thanked President Pepito for “organizing such a terrific, exciting and memorable event. It was perfect in every way. Thanks a lot for sharing your bangus/milkfish and mangoes harvest with us. The Harvest Trail last April 27, gave us the opportunity to further strengthen and solidify the friendships among us.”
The tour at the Lingayen Historic sites gave everyone an overview of the American Liberation Landing, also known as the Lingayen Gulf Invasion where massive US Army amphibious landing of the 6th Army occurred on January 9, 1945. 68,000 troops landed on the first day alone and a total of 203,608 soldiers followed in subsequent landings along a 20-mile beachhead, which stretched the entire shoreline of Saul, Lingayen.

Pres. Uly further mushed: “We also appreciate the food that you served especially the daing na bangus or tinapa. There is nothing like dipping a morsel of smoked or dried fish into some “Pangasinan bagoong” consuming it with copious amounts of steamed rice for breakfast, lunch or even dinner.

He concluded; “The Pangasinan Trip was really a ONE IN A MILLION SP Fellowship and an ENTRALLING EXPERIENCE NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN.”
Well said.
