New Year's Message
2009 will be a challenging year for all of us as we face with uncertainty the possible negative effects of the global financial crisis on our economy and businesses. Yet we should not be unfazed because amidst this crisis we should look at the many opportunities we can do to get ahead. In spite of this looming financial crisis let us move forward and not be burdened. As Jacob Braude aptly said “Life is a grindstone: whether it grinds us down or polishes you up depends on what you’re made of.”
As future Club Presidents and District officers I call on you to lead your Club members in providing greater humanitarian service to the poor, the disadvantaged and disabled. More than ever let us show the communities we serve that we truly care for them thru our generous acts of charity and service.
